Hydropower & Compute
Harnessing the power of Mill Creek to create a completely off-grid, renewable energy-powered micro-campus.
Our Energy System
Mill Creek tumbles past our property, offering a year‑round water source that we harness with a vortex turbine. With flows around 35 cubic feet per second and a head of 5–16 feet, the system produces between 5–10 kilowatts of clean electricity.
This powers our on‑site data centre and residential needs, completely off‑grid. Excess energy is stored in batteries and used to run servers inside a compact micro data centre.
Key Benefits
- • 100% renewable energy operation
- • Zero carbon emissions
- • Reliable year-round power generation
- • Minimal environmental impact
